THAILAND

Thailand had never appealed to us.

Before we met, it wasn’t included on any gap year adventures; after we met, other parts of the world felt more exciting, appealing, and just more ‘Along Dusty Roads’.

Things changed at the start of 2024 when, in search of somewhere with great food where we could escape the British winter and go diving, Thailand leapt out from all the options.

We did a lot of research to ensure we selected the right islands for us avoided certain islands and destinations with a seedy or boozy reputation and, beyond a misstep with our base in Krabi, thankfully landed on a few places that we truly loved.
